The hotel is nice and charming in the Michigan countryside between cornfields. The staff is nice, the breakfast is decent and the pool and hot tub is relaxing. It's a recommended stop if you like a laid back and relaxing stay some. It's right outside Saugatuk too which is a good location.
The room was fantastic. The beds were comfortable. The kitchenette was stocked with dishes, a full size fridge, and a dishwasher. The gas fireplace was a nice touch. However, we were disappointed to find that the only person present at 6pm was at the front desk. She not only didn't have a key to get a baby bed but didn't even know what a pack-n-play would look like. I wandered around the building with her helping look for a baby bed in various storage rooms to no avail. In the end, my toddler had to sleep on some blankets I made up into a bed on the floor. I was very disappointed with this out of a hotel that was otherwise very nice. Also, the breakfast scrambled eggs were gross.
Hotel is great. Its clean and well maintained. Breakfast is nice. Facilities like gym, spa, pool, tennis court are fun. They have kitchen which is convenient if you are traveling with little ones.
