Good price, good coverage. We've checked around every few years and they always come back the best deal. We've got home and auto there.

That's not to say that there couldn't be amazing agents there; I haven't really been impressed. Probably will renew with a different company once my terms are up.
I've had my home and auto insurance through lighthouse for a few years, and have been very satisfied. When I purchased my home I got several other quotes and lighthouse was the best and cheapest option for me when combined with auto.
In my experience, no real initiative to at make you at least feel like you're receiving great service. It's definitely service, but insurance is frustrating and an agent who doesn't have a big investment in personal service isn't going to go out of their way to provide more than the minimum.
Well, it is insurance, and if you're under 25 anywhere is going to spike up your premiums. I pay like 157 a month for basic PLPD.
They charged me for insurance on a home I did not own, yet. Then they took their sweet time refunding me the funds. This happened twice. Next, they cursed the loan people for the mistake. Once I bought the home, a years worth of funds were sent to Lighthouse Ins. A month later I learned insurance was never placed on the home, even though lighthouse had the funds. So I had insurance when I did not request it, then did not have it when I needed it. Long story short, I have insurance with another company.
Don't ask them for a favor, especially with posted transactions, they won't make you feel super clever, and often explain simple concepts multiple times.
