You mean all 4 of the 3 stooges? I have got to reschedule a 1pm appt. but my phone can't make calls.
Great doctor's. Friendly, personable and very informative on illnesses. The billing department could use some more organization but other than that good
If I could do zero stars I would- I am so angered by the service I received from this Spectrum its ridiculous. Other than that AWFUL. As a first time pregnant woman I expected much more. My first several tests (hcg tests) were slightly lower than they would have liked so I was told by one nurse that I "would probably have a miscarriage based on these numbers and to prepare for the worst." I had to get hcg tests for almost 3 weeks, 3 times a week at 60$ a pop only to find that my numbers were fine and the baby was growing normally. I had an ultrasound scheduled for when we returned from our spring break family vacation, only to have them call me the day before leaving saying "WE NEED YOU TO STOP IN BEFORE LEAVING ON YOUR TRIP BECAUSE WE THINK YOUR PREGNANCY MAY BE ECTOPIC." Yes, exactly what I needed before vacation, OH, only to find that everything was fine AGAIN!!! Then they also made me keep my ultrasound appointment for the next week despite knowing everything was fine to tell me exactly the same news (and charge me another 350$!!!) My blood work was constantly being scheduled elsewhere at outpatient places or Holland hospital, which I dislike as well, and reviewed by 4 of the other doctors because mine was on vacation my entire first trimester. THEN, not only was my new OBGYN doctor not available to me until the end of my first trimester, but when she was it was for a 15 minute appointment in which she gave me no useful information and was late! Now, here is what REALLY got me: After running normal blood work my entire first trimester, they told me that I needed to do the 1 hour glucose test (not normally done this early) and that I was to fast for 3 hours beforehand. THREE. So I had lunch, waited three full hours and went in for my test. I told her yes I fasted for 3 hours and she said, "This was supposed to be a 4 hour fast but we can note in under your results." Did the test anyway. My glucose level was ONE point above the "normal range" so they told me I needed to do the three hours glucose test and this carbo-loading diet for half a week. So I did it.... All of my levels for the test were slightly higher than the normal range but still ok, and my A1C test was in the perfect spot. Monday morning, not my doctor, A NURSE calls me to tell me that I have diabetes. Not gestational diabetes (Which I was mentally prepared for in case it happened) but no, she said, "It looks like based on your tests, you have diabetes." I said, "Gestational diabetes?" and she said, "No permanent diabetes, the pre existing kind." SO COLD. She also called me in the middle of the workday, gave me no other helpful information, and was not kind or compassionate about it AT ALL!!! Then she followed with, "We have scheduled you for a diabetes education and consultation in Grand Rapids for these dates..." Which would cost me another $500!!!!! I left work crying and PISSED that my doctor didn't call to tell me this. So I decided to switch doctors. I now go to Sue Vandenbosch in Spectrum of Grand Rapids and the first day I switched I sent her an email explaining everything that happened at the Holland location and she said, "I will take a look at your test results and get back to you. TWO HOURS later she gets back to me and says, "Yeah, I don't know why they tested you for gestational diabetes this early and I have no idea why they told you that you have any diabetes, let alone pre-existing diabetes." She told me to cancel the diabetes education and consultation because all of my numbers were slightly high but still normal and had me test myself for 2 weeks to be sure and they were all fine. So I don't have gestational or pre-existing diabetes and the staff at Spectrum Holland very easily could have figured that out had they given me ANY individualized attention. I will never go to Spectrum of Holland again. Their nurses are awful, the billing department is messy and unorganized and no help what so ever when trying to set up payment plans, and the doctor I had did not seem to care one shred about what I was going through.
Dr. Fasbender is an amazing Doctor. He never seems to be in a rush while talking to you. If you have concerns, he takes them seriously, but he is not wrapped tight. I would recommend him to anyone.
Dr. Persenaire is awesome, and so are the other services there like lab work in house. I have received much better care here than the Holland Hospital group.
