They do a good job but the wait is ridiculous at times even if you make an appointment. Fill says $15 but will charge extra because they say you got "gel powder" well asked everywhere and found out gel powder does not exist and they are using acrylic and up charging you. When I found out I was paying extra every 2 weeks. It really disappointed me and thought everybody should be aware. Unless they are using a UV light. Gel powder does not exist!!!! One more thing, I got the Ruby Swing color changing nail polish. Got charged $3 extra and I got home when it was all dry I put it in super hot water and super cold water and no change in color at all. I don't really like Kathy. She's made me bleed and she's constantly looking around not paying much attention.
Made appointment and they were ready for us when we walked in. Wonderful personal service. Very clean. Skilled technicians!
I had the WORST service EVER. When my sister and I first got there, it was so busy, we were about to leave, but then a lady pressured us stay to do our nails, even though she was busy with other customers. We waited around twenty minutes, and was soon seated with the man who was going to do my nails. He was very rough with my nails, hands, and was extremely rude to me. He designed my nails wrong, even though I had showed him a picture of what I wanted. He was sentencing me to another seat, I did not know why. I spoked to the lady next to me, who told me what bad service she had, and how long it took. She even questioned the worker, who was going and when they were going to do her nails since she had been sitting at the table for more than 10 minutes. Another lady shouted out loud "how long am I supposed to stay under the UV lights?!" No one was supervising her at the time; there were even workers that were available. She was clearly upset with the responsibility and supervising there. Also, when my nails were almost complete, I asked for gems/rhinestones on my nails, but the lady told me not to do it, and that I didn't need it, even though I really wanted them on my nails. Lastly, the man that did my nails was so rude and actually threw my change back at me and left once i was finished paying him. Despite the awful service, i was going to give him his tip, but after him doing that i decided not to.
The biggest downfall of this salon is time management. My bestie and I will call days in advance for an appointment, and always have to wait around for someone to finish our pedicures. They take too many clients in at a time - there is not enough people, and it sucks having to deal with that kinda service when you've made an appointment. We've had to sit there for 3 hours for a pedicure before.
We keep going back because the quality is great, and the staff is always nice with us. I just wish they didn't take on so many people in one hour and have everyone just sitting and waiting with half done nails.
Worst service I had ever recieved from any place in my entire life. The lack of communication, the lack of politeness, and the amount of time wasted was very disappointing. Never recommending this salon to anyone.
Ultimate love-hate relationship with this place.
I came up to visit Holland with a friend for a short day trip, and we chose to come here to treat ourselves to mani-pedis. What a great decision! The nail techs did not skimp out on any part of the process, and spent ample time on our pedicures (complete with scrub and buffing ridges). The salon was immaculate and the prices were very reasonable- mani/pedi combo cost only $35. It was honestly the best part of our Holland visit lol (since everything was closed on Sunday!)
