After some research to find a dermatologist in the West Michigan area, avoiding those in Muskegon who were not recommended by friends and on-line, I found this Dr. in Holland, about an extra 30 minute drive.
I will not step foot in their offices again and will obviously not be referring others to them either!
I have been going to this office for years and have never been treated so rudely and poorly from the nurse and the doctor themselves at my last appointment. Both the doctor and nurse reprimanded me and were so rude toward me when they came to waiting area to get me because I was on my phone to activate a new credit card that I had just received in the mail that THEIR receptionist kindly asked me to activate and give the info when I checked out so THEY could have it in THEIR files because THEY needed it. And they came to get me 15 minutes earlier than my scheduled time! Isn't that what going in early is supposed to be for? To fill out paperwork and make payments?
Dr. Drozdowski was personable, knowledgeable, explained what was going on. Did not rush me. Explained course of treatment and options.
I will give them 1 star because I felt the receptionist was kind.
I was trying to make an appointment after reading about the good review online. so i called and talked to the receptionist, Suzy. As i was explaining the condition that both my husband and i are experiencing, she cut me off and asked if i am new patient and proceeded to tell me that she can't get me in until end of July.
Wonderful staff, caring doctor, excellent Dermatologist
I was very unhappy with the way she handled the call. I told her that she could have waited for me to finish and explain to me that she is not a nurse. what i am trying to say here is that a professional would try to handle patient's concern by getting the right person to speak with them. When you need to go to the dentist or doctor, if they can't get you in right away, they will always check to see if the situation is urgent and provide some sort of advise or suggestion. It is not the case with Suzy.
Staff was excellent, clear in their explanations of what was going on, both medically and financially.
worst experience I've ever had they had a nice receptionist but other then that it was brutal 0 stars
Would recommend.
