A slow trip around Lake Macatawa with very ordinary food and recorded music is not nearly worth fifty dollars. "Seating" (chairs) is not comfortable. Skipper talks while music is playing so can't hear him.
Had a great time my family. Staff were very nice & courteous. Food was great, BBQ chicken, shrimp, salad, potato salad, rolls, fruit and topped it off with Cheese Cake, a must experienced for Holland visite
My wife and I had our wedding reception here 3 years ago and have been back 2 times since, to relive the fun! The staff is nothing short of incredible !!!! They have a quality buffet, entertainment, a cash bar and of course incredible scenery including Big Red, the lighthouse on Lake Michigan. They see thousands of people each season and they remembered us and our wedding. That tells me this is more than a job to these wonderful people :) Thank you all sooo much for the incredible experience !!!
We went here as part of a bus tour, and couldn't have been more pleased! The food was great, the staff were friendly and the views were spectacular! I recommend for a nice evening on the lake.
This was one of the highlights of our 4-day trip to Michigan. It was a nice relaxing getaway on the water during a busy vacation schedule. The entire crew was super friendly and willing to help. The buffet style dinner and dessert (cheesecake, yum!) was delicious. Three of the four members of our group got up & performed karaoke on the return trip (completely sober!), something I had never in my life done before. I'd definitely recommend adding this dinner cruise to your itinerary!
On-board guitar player apparently cannot afford shoes i.e., nothing says "I'm a lazy ass" like wearing flip-flops.
