I have gone to Holland Physical therapy for several weeks for back spasms and back pain. I had the back spasms every year for several days at a time and this time it had been 3 months and I was taking a Europe tour and didn't want to have the pain. I never thought they would be able to help me to get rid of it but after several treatments, it was gone before I left and I had no discomfort while on my trip!!!!! They also helped me with a few other back problems also and I am so thankful that my NP referred me here to help!! In the past, I had taken pain pills, used electrical devices, creams etc but nothing totally took care of the spasms till therapy!!!

Holland Physical Therapy helped me on two separate occasions over the past few years. I was having chronic neck pain and then foot pain.
I’m 54 years old, exercise regularly, and live a very healthy active lifestyle. February of 2017 that all changed with an L-5 disc herniation. Life as I knew it physically and mentally I thought had changed forever. Two nerve root injections somewhat helped with the unbearable pain but left me stiff, tight, immobile, with radiating sciatic pain. After three months still unable to put on my socks and shoes, sit in a chair, or pick up something off the floor, I decided something needed to be done.
My husband is now going to be seen for his siactic nerve pain and am sure they will help him also!
The office staff are very pleasant and helpful, the therapists are great--Ford, Paige, and Ruth helped me and I thank them very much for their help!
Today I’m feeling great! Flexibility and range of motion are good, and my core strength has never been stronger. I’m able to do everything I used to which I never thought would happen. The personalized exercise program really does work and I certainly plan to stick with it.
I turned to Physical Therapy, initially at a different location which left my condition unchanged. After consulting with a spine specialist I was referred to Ford at Holland PT. Oh my gosh! Totally different experience. Ford started me with treatments and basic movements to calm down the nerve. We then progressed into flexibility and strengthening exercises along with treatments. During all my visits not only did I receive beneficial treatments, I gained a wealth of knowledge about my condition. Ford educated me on exactly what I had going on and wanted to make sure I understood. This education I found to be far more personalized about my exact condition than a generic “youtube” video on a disc herniation.
Both times I received excellent customer service from the entire staff. The appointments were very accommodating to my busy work schedule.
Even though I worked primarily with Ford I could clearly see the whole Holland PT Team was very consistent with their procedures on therapy techniques and communicating with patients. Their professionalism and extreme efforts in helping you achieve your goals is awesome!
Ford's knowledge and expertise of how physical therapy is instrumental for healing process exceeded my expectations. With his effective communication of how the body works together as a whole to gain mobility and strength is the key to my success.
I highly recommend anyone who has chronic pain to work with them.
I was in an auto accident and was sent to Holland Physical Therpy . The first day I walked in the door I was depressed and my chest was burning along with my neck out of wack. These people that work here are very patient and understanding. Tlhey don't hurry you thru your appointment . I am so lucky to have been able to have them dwork on me. As of today I am much better and can do more. I know I have a ways to go but without this therapy I know I would not be this good.The exercises are a great help.
