The staff are very friendly and extremely helpful. That is one thing I love about this library. HOWEVER, I would be better off working in a frat house! I can handle a normal level of noise but COME ON!!!! As I am writing this in the library, I am somehow sandwiched between a man on a conference call who is speaking very loudly and another man cracking up while watching movies on his laptop and talking to himself. Apparently, I was misinformed my entire life that a library is a quiet place to work. Every single time I come here this happens. UNBELIEVABLE!!
Great storytime program for babies and fantastic children's space upstairs. I just moved to Holland so I had to get a library card and the woman helping me get one was a little less than helpful as I was trying to juggle holding my baby and finding a bank statement with my new address. In general though I can't wait to come back to this library many times.
Fantastic children's programs weekdays during the day! Check the schedule for story times and fun activities. We've used the downstairs coffee shop to host birthday parties and the kids love it. Swimming turtles in the upstairs aquarium are always a highlight of the trip.
